The Fortune Hotel contestants: Meet the full cast of ITV’s new series

Like The Traitors, but in a luxury Caribbean resort.

The Fortune Hotel is about to become your new reality TV obsession. With a similar vibe to The Traitors and Deal or No Deal though with a delightfully luxe Caribbean resort as its backdrop, the new ITV eight-part series sees 10 pairs compete in the hopes of securing the £250,000 hidden in one of ten briefcases.

While eight of the briefcases are empty, one holds an 'early checkout' card which eliminates a pair from the game, while the other contains the prize money. Using master manipulation, deception and lies, The Fortune Hotel contestants must navigate their way through challenges all the way to the end in order to secure the £250k briefcase.

The Fortune Hotel opened its doors on Monday 13 May and has been our go-to evening watch ever since. But who are The Fortune Hotel cast?

Chloe and Louie

How they know each other: Best friends and business partners

Ages: 38 and 22

Job: Aesthetics practitioner and skincare specialist

From: Bolton

Besties and business partners Chloe and Louie had a wonderful time filming for The Fortune Hotel, with Chloe saying "Living in the hotel, no holiday will ever compare, it was out of this world. Even during the filming, I just kept thinking to myself this is the life!"

“Louie asked me if I'd be up for it and I thought free holiday with my bestie and business partner, why not.”

Reality TV fans might recognise Louie from Josh Must Win, another series which he participated in just two months earlier.

Adam and Michael

How they know each other: Best friends

Age: 37 and 35

Job: Bricklayer and Landscaper

From: Bognor Regis

Adam described The Fortune Hotel as “ a once in a lifetime experience to share with your best friend which isn’t something that comes around very often.”

Best friend Michael echoed this sentiment, explaining “I couldn’t resist a free holiday in the Caribbean and also getting the chance to meet new people and have some fun.”

More than fair enough!

So what would the pair do if they won the money? Adam says he'd “go on an amazing family holiday" with his girlfriend and son, while Michael would “take [his] daughter to Disney and spoil her with whatever she wanted.”, adding “We’d also like to put the money together and buy some property.”

Jo-Anne and Will

How they know each other: Mother and son

Age: 55 and 20

Job: Technical instructor and Mental health worker and Digital marketing executive and Events organiser

From: Sheffield

Will is pretty clear on his reasons for wanting to join The Fortune Hotel cast, explaining “The idea of the prize money sounded very appealing. It’s also a once in a lifetime opportunity that you don’t get to do with your mum everyday.”

As for Jo-Anne? Well apparently she didn't have much of a choice!

“I was pegging the washing out and Will told me about the opportunity, the next thing I know I was on a plane to the Caribbean.”

On what the mother son duo would spent the prize money on, Will says he'd like to go travelling, get on the property ladder and ideally a Rolex, while Jo-Anne wants to pay off her mortgage and buy the medical team who supported her with her cancer treatment equipment such as a lymphatic drainage machine.

“It helped me so much so if I can help others with lymphoedema that would be amazing.”
Jae and Cherish

How they know each other: Best friends

Age: Both 30

Job: Singer-songwriter and Artist

From: South London

On why they signed up for The Fortune Hotel, Jae says “To do something fun and write our own history, we wanted to explore and have a new adventure”, while Cherish explained “The opportunity that presented itself seemed like a very interesting one at the time and it was throughout the whole process. I think it was also an opportunity for us to travel as best friends and compete for a life changing amount of money in the Caribbean.”

Yep, that'll do it!

Cherish adds that the besties would use the money to “Invest in ourselves, our families and into our dreams. We’d also travel and do things for ourselves and our families that we haven’t been able to do for the last 30 years.”

Claire and Daniel

How they know each other: Married

Age: Both 43

Job: Commercial director and Barrister

From: Gloucestershire

Claire says that the pair “always embrace adventure and wanted to do something together”, with her adding “The opportunity to do something outside of your comfort zone is always a good thing.”

On their decision to join The Fortune Hotel, Daniel said “The weather was also a big factor and the opportunity for us to share an experience enticed us as parents because we don’t often get to spend time together just the two of us.”

So what would they do with the money? Daniel says the pair would put it towards paying off their mortgage, a nice holiday with their kids and donating to Birmingham Children's Hospital.

Gary and Lesley

How they know each other: Partners

Age: 60 and 55

Job: N/A

From: Suffolk

On their decision to sign up as The Fortune Hotel contestants, Gary said "Having been off work I was getting cabin fever and wanted to do something different, we’re getting older so want to fit in as many experiences as possible and this just happened to be something that
interested us."

He added "Everyone was so lovely, the cast and crew were incredible."

Should they win, the couple plan to use the money to retire early and help their son get on the property ladder.

Jen and Susan

How they know each other: Best friends

Age: 44 and 39

Job: Executive assistant and Investigator

From: Lanarkshire

On the best friends' decision to join The Fortune Hotel Cast, Jen said “When I came across the casting advert, I remember thinking, 'This show resembled The White Lotus meets Glass Onion meets The Traitors and I thought Susan and I would be amazing at this! Coupled with the opportunity to get away with my best friend to sneak about at a luxury resort and steal money from people. We're IN!”

Susan added “She made me do it.”

In terms of what the pair would do with the prize money, Susan says she'd treat herself to an expensive pair of shoes, with both wanting to also put it towards mortgages and treating their families.

Scott and Tommy

Age: Both 19

Job: Bartender and Hairstylist apprentice

From: North London

Why did best friends Scott and Tommy sign up for The Fortune Hotel?

“Two best friends bluffing our way to get £250k whilst being in the sun was a no brainer.” says Tommy, while Scott says “It was impossible to say no to a holiday in a five star resort, we jumped at the chance.”

Completely fair, we would too!

If the pair manage to secure the £250k prize money, Scott says he'd “definitely want to invest it”, while Tommy would do the same, as well as using it to pay off his parents' mortgage.

Abbie and Tracey

How they know each other: Mother and daughter

Age: 51 and 18

Job: Skincare consultant and student

From: Cardiff

Mother and daughter duo Abbie and Tracey signed up as The Fortune Hotel contestants in search of some sunshine and their chance to win the £250k prize money.

Tracey is pretty clear on what she'd do if she won the money, saying “I’d spend it on a VIP ticket to Tom Jones and to cover my children's university fees and I’d want to spoil all my friends and family with presents.”

Meanwhile, Abbie would use the money to travel and put it towards a mortgage.

Samm and Aysha

How they know each other: Married

Age: Both 30

Job: Content creator and Construction worker

From: London

Samm and Ayesha say they've never travelled together so are looking at their time on The Fortune Hotel as “almost like a honeymoon for us without the relaxation and chill.”

Should they win the 250k, the couple say they would invest it in business in Kenya where the pair are from, with Aysha adding “It would be life changing in helping our parents and children.”
